We are proud to announce our participation in the NumaPlus Project, a groundbreaking cross-border initiative aimed at transforming Andaluzia and the Algarve into the world’s first cardio-secure regions. This innovative project, funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), brings together organizations from Portugal and Spain to develop a new healthcare model, integrating pharmacies, health centers, and emergency services.
The NumaPlus Project will revolutionize early detection of cardiac diseases and ensure rapid response to cardiac emergencies through advanced technologies and automated external defibrillators placed in strategic locations. This initiative will not only save lives but also raise awareness and provide training to the public and healthcare professionals on how to handle cardiac emergencies effectively.
The pilot phase of the project will be implemented by December 2026, and we are thrilled to be part of this transformational effort that will redefine how the Algarve and Andalusia care for cardiovascular health.
