CLINICAL TRIALS

The ABC Clinical Research (ABC-CR) aims to further solidify its pivotal role in promoting and facilitating clinical research in Portugal. This project ensures a structured network to encourage and support clinical researchers in their activities in clinical studies. It relies on support bodies for the designs and methodologies used in clinical studies, as well as specialized teams in coordinating clinical studies conducted in healthcare units through consultancy and advice on various aspects involving the preparation, submission to regulatory authorities, and execution of clinical research projects at a national or multinational level with coordination center in the Algarve. It will provide support not only to clinical research projects developed in the Advanced Experimental Surgery Center but also to other public and private healthcare organizations with whom ABC has been establishing collaboration protocols.
