ABC researcher Joana Apolónio participated in a session focused on the National Cancer Hub, held in Porto. The event aimed to discuss ideas and strategies to be implemented within the framework of the European Cancer Plan (EBCP) and the National Cancer Strategy 2030.
During the session, the importance of establishing a national structure that brings together key stakeholders involved in the various cancer-related initiatives and actions was emphasized. The goal of this collaboration is to maximize the benefits of the EBCP, contributing significantly to the healthcare system, the scientific and technological sectors, and, most importantly, to the Portuguese citizens.
