About

ABC has as its main mission to create, transmit, and disseminate a culture of research and development, contributing to the training of highly qualified and specialized professionals. With 10 years of experience in emergency medical training, ABC has successfully played a positive role in the community, significantly impacting various target audiences through its diverse training activities.

ABC’s training plan exhibits extremely high standards of quality and rigor under the leadership of faculty members from the Faculty of Medicine, in collaboration with physicians and nurses engaged in daily clinical practice at the University Hospital Center of the Algarve in the fields of EMERGENCY, INTENSIVE CARE, and the National Institute of Medical Emergency – INEM.

The teaching staff is complemented by professionals from various emergency, rescue, and community support entities, bringing valuable experience and knowledge to community engagement. This collaboration forms strong, cohesive, and experienced training teams with diverse perspectives. This experience allows for a detailed understanding of the characteristics and environments of critically ill patients, both within and outside the hospital, as well as an approach to victims taking into account the specificities of the region.

Through personalized training, this team plans and designs tailored programs for each specific group of trainees, adjusting to their individual levels of knowledge and prior training.
