Francisco Serra is Vice-President of Algarve Biomedical Center.
He is the representative of CHUA in the board of ABC.
Francisco Serra is Ph.D. in Economic and Business Sciences, is a coordinating professor at the School of Management, Hospitality, and Tourism (ESGHT). He actively participates in international research networks, with a particular focus on the fields of Tourism and Health.
He has distinguished himself through his dedicated service to the Algarve region, having served on the Board of Directors of Faro Hospital from 2006 to 2012. Additionally, he held the position of Director at ESGHT from 2012 to 2016. More recently, from 2016 until October 2020, he served as the President of the Coordination and Development Commission of the Algarve Region (CCDR Algarve), overseeing the management of the CRESC Algarve 2020 program and presiding over the Euroregion Algarve-Alentejo-Andalusia (EUROAAA).
